1. Who we are

Sensible Camera is a product of VioletStack Pvt Ltd (“VioletStack”, “we”, “us”). This policy describes the current app and sensiblecamera.com. Contact us at hello@violetstack.com about privacy questions or requests.

The app is coming soon. We will update this policy if the released product’s data practices change.

2. Camera frames, audio, and face information

With your camera permission, the app reads camera frames to display a preview, detect faces, and apply your selected effect. With microphone permission, it records audio with video. Camera frames and audio are processed locally; they are not uploaded to our servers.

Apple Vision returns face bounding boxes. The app uses their positions for face coverage, temporary subject selection, and cosmetic character continuity. It does not identify people, create identity profiles, or infer emotions. Bounding boxes and temporary track information are used in memory and are not transmitted to us or retained as a face database.

Original camera frames exist temporarily in memory during processing. The app’s capture pipeline writes processed images to photo exports and processed frames to video files; it does not intentionally save an additional unprocessed recording.

3. What is saved on your device

When you save a capture and permit Photos access, processed photos and videos are added to your Photos library. The latest capture is also available for sharing in the app. Processed video files may remain in the app’s temporary directory, including after a save is denied; iOS can reclaim those temporary files. They are not a permanent private gallery.

The hardware-shutter preference is stored locally. The app does not require an account or store your name, email address, or an advertising identifier for camera use.

You control saved items in Photos, including Recently Deleted. Removing the app removes its local app data, but does not remove captures already saved to Photos or sent elsewhere.

4. Permissions are your choice

• Camera: needed for preview and capture.
• Microphone: requested for video sound. If denied, video can be recorded without audio.
• Photos, add-only: used to save captures. The app does not request access to browse your existing photo library.

Change permissions in iPhone Settings. The current app does not request location, contacts, or tracking permission. Screen light temporarily increases display brightness and restores it when no longer active.

5. Sharing and Apple services

When you choose a share destination, that destination receives the content you share and handles it under its own terms and privacy policy. If you enable iCloud Photos or another backup service, saved captures may sync through that service. Those are your device/service settings, not uploads to VioletStack.

Downloading through the App Store and any diagnostics you choose to share with Apple are governed by Apple’s policies. The app’s offline processing does not mean external sharing or cloud backup works without internet.

6. This website and support email

This website is hosted on Vercel. Hosting infrastructure may process standard request information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and timestamps to deliver and secure the site. We have not added advertising cookies, third-party analytics, session replay, or a mailing-list signup. Fonts and site assets are served with the site.

The interactive demo is an illustration. It does not request your camera, microphone, or photos. Demo choices remain in the current page session.

If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message through our email provider. We use them to answer your inquiry or provide requested support, and retain correspondence only as needed for that purpose, applicable obligations, or resolving a dispute. Do not send private captures or identifiable footage unless necessary for your request.

Infrastructure and email providers may process information in countries other than your own. See Vercel’s privacy policy for its hosting practices.

7. Your choices and rights

You can revoke permissions, remove local data, delete saved captures, and choose whether to contact us. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information we hold, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

For requests about support correspondence, contact hello@violetstack.com. We cannot retrieve or delete captures from your device because we do not receive them. We do not sell personal information or use app captures for model training.

8. Children and considerate recording

The app does not provide accounts or knowingly collect children’s personal information through camera use. A parent or guardian concerned about information sent to us by email can contact us for help.

Face detection can miss people, and other details can identify a person. Effects are not a guarantee of anonymity and do not replace consent, local laws, or reviewing a capture before sharing.

9. Changes

We will post changes here with a revised date. If a future feature changes what we collect or how we use it, we will update the policy and provide any notice or choices required.
